Inn at Riverwalk, Edwards, Colorado
The Inn at Riverwalk is an 20-year old property in Edwards, Colorado. We evaluated whether the property should remain independent or pursue a brand affiliation. Based on our analysis and recommendations, the property is converting to a “soft brand” and undergoing an extensive renovation. We assembled the designer, purchasing agent, architect and the contractor to do the project as well as the marketing agency to help us reposition the property.
Comprehensive management from strategy to day-to-day operations
Resort properties often have more than one real estate component, including residential condominiums, vacation ownership, commercial/retail and resort operations. Our goal is to operate the property efficiently, maximize rental returns, and rationalize the cost sharing and governance to best serve stakeholders.
We develop a customized management plan based on the objectives of a particular property. The plan may include marketing of rentals, operations, association management, governance, and capital. These properties may be complicated from a legal and financial perspective, so we strive to “simplify the complex”.
Westin Riverfront Resort & Spa, Avon, Colorado
The Westin is a condominium hotel with residential, commercial, hotel, spa and club, and food and beverage components. The property has both “hotel” and “master” associations as well as a third-party operator. Prior to starting Evans Hospitality, our founder was responsible for all aspects of the property, including brand relationship, the owners’ associations, food and beverage, spa and club, and hotel operations.
